Momentum Analytics
Momentum Analytics is designed as a pair of applications that work (either separately or in tandem) to track and breakdown the momentum of user defined groupings of different stocks. The system comes preloaded with a library of upwards of 500 individual stocks segmented into different Sectors and Subsectors but has the flexibility to allow users to modify and reclassify these groupings as they see fit. Both applications calculate a long term and short term momentum for each stock in the user defined universe and aggregate these momentums at each level of grouping. The Sector Analytics application makes additional calculations ultilizing the base momentums to provide a detailed look at the exact trend of the groupings, both directionally and by magnitude, currently. And the Momentum Charting tool gives a visual representation of these momentums calculated historically.
